Nothing persists because of its form: everything persists because of its pulse.From pre-Socratic thinkers to modern science, reflection on reality has oscillated between two poles: Parmenides' motionless being and Heraclitus' perpetual flux; Democritus' solid atom and Einstein's vibrating energy. Both approaches are true, but incomplete. Between being andbetween being and becoming there is a third substance: the living continuity, that inner tension that allows the river to remain a river even if its waters change. I call this substance Inergy.
