Gaston G. Sena is an aspiring creative writer/madman, who adores playing video games and watching animation that inspire his twisted, cartoony ideas - often late at night. During the Covid-19 pandemic, he realized while filming and directing a low-budget short movie that he adored writing. The Fanciful Phantasmagoria marks Gaston's first published work in novel format. He hopes to one day combine his love of directing with his passion for writing to create his own animated series. Gaston was born in Elizabeth, N.J., to Uruguayan parents, Daniel Sena and Gabriela Hernandez. He is the younger brother of Carlos Sena and the once proud dog owner/father of the late Lou Sena. Gaston loves all things fun, whacky, and weird, and believes that the most entertaining stories encapsulate these elements to help readers temporarily forget the harshness of reality. He aims to write these types of stories and introduce readers to wonderful characters and memorable villains, like ones found in his main sources of inspiration, Gravity Falls, The Owl House, DOOM, Halo, Dead Space, Spyro, and Transformers. Because he gets his most zany ideas at night, enjoys his solitude, and loves Taco Bell, Gaston believes his spirit animal is the opossum. Also, he may or may not be a diehard fan of a certain bandicoot ... "We're going to lose so many battles, but we only truly lose, if we give up. As long as you keep pushing, you are still fighting and standing strong to keep that fire in you alive. Don't lose that fire in you," Gaston says.
