Riley Mickelsen is the proud owner of Idaho Horseshoeing School. One of the largest and most sought out farrier schools in the world. He is an accomplished Professional Farrier whose expertise has been rigorously tested and recognized by leading farrier organizations.Upon embracing the farrier profession full-time, Riley wasted no time in pursuing certifications, earning Level 1 and 2 Journeyman Certification from the Brotherhood of Working Farriers (BWFA). Driven by a thirst for excellence, Riley furthered his journey by challenging himself with the American Farriers Association (AFA) testing system. Through dedication and perseverance, he achieved the esteemed Certified Journeyman Farrier designation through the AFA. This journey reinforced his belief that true mastery of the trade is an ongoing endeavor, with each step revealing new depths of knowledge.¿A formidable presence in national farrier competitions, Riley's knowledge extends beyond the forge, he is fluent in Spanish and gives frequent farrier clinics in Mexico. Beyond his professional achievements, Riley and his wife are the visionary creators and owners of the largest horse hoof care YouTube and Facebook channels on the internet.
