Autorenporträt
Maria Grau i Saló (El Vendrell, 1949). She currently lives in Barcelona. She has a degree in philology and has worked for many years in education. One of her passions is writing stories for young people and children. She has published for Editorial el Pirata, for Columna and for Garsineu Edicions. In 2003 she won the Children's Storytelling Prize at the XIV Sant Jordi Night, in Perpinyà. Quim Bou, born in Vidreres (La Selva), in 1971, studied at Emilia Xargay's workshop, in Barcelona Fine Arts and at the Joso School. For many years he has published comics (Cavall Fort, Ed Dolmen ...), illustrations of textbooks, short stories and juvenile novels (Editorial el Pirata, Animallibres ...), posters, triptychs and any work related to drawing. During the holidays, he gets up at six in the morning, with his wife and the dog, to go on excursions to the mountains. They are crazy, these cartoonists!
