Autorenporträt
Both retired educators, professional writers and editors, Bonnie Brightlee and Christine Horgan began teaching communications over thirty years ago. They both served as the managing editor for Dandelion Magazine and contributed to the writing and editing of a college textbook. Bonnie has reviewed and edited several books, while Christine's poetry has been published in Western Canadian literary journals. Writing has been a means to advance their respective careers and feed their creative natures. The Floating $5: Women's Words of Wisdom is their first book together. In their spare time, the authors enjoy reading and travelling. Residing in Calgary, Alberta, Bonnie still trains in TaeKwonDo and lives with her grandson and Bernese Mountain dog, and Christine, who is a life-long horse woman, lives with her husband and their four cats.
