Autorenporträt
Richard Wigginton Thompson (1809 - 1900) was an American politician, Republican, and representative of Indiana in the United States Congress. He was one of the founders of the Constitutional Union Party and took numerous high-profile state positions, such as Secretary of the Navy, during his political career. His only available literary work is "The Footprints of the Jesuits," where he proclaims the need for the state's independence from clergy organizations.
