Am 30. Mai 1987 wurde Lukas Wolfgang Börner in Leipzig geboren, um bald darauf, noch vor dem Mauerfall, mit seiner Familie ins Allgäu zu gelangen. In der Ganghofer-Stadt Kaufbeuren vis-à-vis des Familienhauses Enzensberger verbrachte er seine Jugend mit Naturexkursionen, Gedichten und allerhand Bubenstreichen, die seine Jugendromane fortan prägen sollten. Nach seinem Wehrdienst als Gebirgsjäger studierte er Germanistik, Geographie und Europäische Ethnologie an der Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München. Börner ist Übersetzer/Nachdichter diverser internationaler Gedichtklassiker ("Tomten", "Befana") sowie des toskanischen Volksmärchens "Fantaghirò Persona Bella", das durch die Märchen-Filmreihe "Prinzessin Fantaghirò" Berühmtheit erlangte. Sie wurden unter anderem bei Hoffmann und Campe sowie im Hölker Verlag veröffentlicht. Inhalt seiner Geschichten und Dichtungen sind Freiheits- und Sinnsuche, Liebe, Lust und die volle Palette menschlicher Abgründe, wobei der Humor ebenso allgegenwärtig ist wie die Umwertung aller Werte à la Nietzsche.
