Stef Wade is the author of A Place for Pluto, illustrated by Melanie Demmer, which was an Honorable Mention for the Council for Wisconsin Writers Toft/Wright Children's Literacy Award, a 2018 Barnes & Noble storytime pick, a 2019 TXLA 2×2 Reading List Book, a 2019 UK Summer Reading Challenge book, a 2019 LITA Golden Duck Notable Picture Book and a Show Me Award Runner-Up. Her other books include The Very Last Leaf, illustrated by Jennifer Davison and Q&U Call It Quits, illustrated by Jorge Martin. Steph Laberis is a character designer and illustrator specializing in animation and children's publishing. Her work is known for its sense of whimsy, humor, and expressive (usually animal!) characters. She is the illustrator of the Grumpy Cat Little Golden Book series and has illustrated over fifty picture books to date.
