Liana Lowenstein, MSW, RSW, CPT-S, is a registered social worker, certified TF-CBT therapist, and certified play therapist-supervisor who has been working with children and their families in Toronto since 1988. She is the author of multiple books about therapy with children, including Creative Interventions for Troubled Children & Youth and Paper Dolls and Paper Airplanes: Therapeutic Exercises for Sexually Traumatized Children (co-author). Liana provides clinical consultation to mental health practitioners and presents trainings across North America and abroad. She is a recipient of the Monica Herbert Award for outstanding contributions to play therapy in Canada.
