J.T. Allen is a writer, musician, and historian. As J. Timothy Allen, he wrote professionally for thirty years. Turning to fiction, he published Love, Judie Kate in 2020. The Gift from Turtle is his second novel. He lives on a small farm near historic Snow Camp, North Carolina with his wife, two zany dogs, one finicky cat, and an indifferent horse.
