Autorenporträt
Darren Mackey was born in the Cathedral City of Armagh in 1973. He has lived with his wife, Sharon, and their three children, Conchur, Niamh and Caoimhin in the picturesque village of Benburb for the last twenty years. An avid music and football fan he began his writing career at the ripe old age of forty and after considerable setbacks his first book, The Jolly Giraffe, was published in 2024. He is now currently working on the much anticipated follow up, a work entitled The Boy McCoy, which should be completed and published sometime in 2026.
