Naomi Jones (Author) Naomi Jones worked in children's publishing for eight years before becoming a freelance editor, author and poet. She is the author of many acclaimed picture books, including The Perfect Fit, One More Try, The Odd Fish, How to Catch a Rainbow and Thunderboots. Her books have been published in 20 languages and shortlisted for multiple awards. In 2025, Naomi was shortlisted for the Ruth Rendell Award for services to literacy. Naomi lives by the sea in Cornwall with her husband and their two young boys. James Jones (Illustrator) James Jones is an award-winning art director, designer and illustrator. His picture books include The Perfect Fit, One More Try, The Odd Fish and Small Steps, Big Change. James loves to surf and practice kung fu. He lives in Cornwall with his family.
