The Great Deception is a mixture of Christian apocalypse and science fiction. The book is loosely based on the Bible's end time depiction foretold of in the Book of Revelation. It is the author's creative and imaginative rendering of one of the possible scenarios that could accompany the true and divinely inspired end time occurrence of the tribulation period and its onset, which makes this book primarily science fiction or Christian Science Fiction. The story's plot begins some time in the near future on the planet earth. The narrative begins with the world's population going about their daily routines and carrying on life as usual, when seemingly out of nowhere, a cosmic event transpires that will forever change the fate of every single person on Earth. As if that wasn't enough, a chain of several more horrific events occur, placing even more strain on mankind's already crumbling fragile societies. The Earth's nations have little choice but to align with one another in order to prevent the mass extinction of the entire human race. From the ashes of global catastrophe, a powerful new world order is born. This new global order is led by no other than the powerful political entity of GAIED (pronounced Guy-Ed), the Global Alliance of International Economics and Defense. While this new entity appears to be the savior that mankind and the world so desperately needs, a deeper, much darker and more disturbing reality is hidden just beneath the surface. Events are quickly set in motion that will lead to the beginning of the end of the world and the revelation of the Man of Sin; the Antichrist Beast and false savior of the world himself.
