Arthur Levine is president emeritus of Columbia University's Teachers College and the Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation. He is the author or coauthor of many books, including Generation on a Tightrope: A Portrait of Today's College Students. Scott Van Pelt is the Director of Research and Faculty Affairs at the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education.
