Alex Hunter was the first child in his school year to be given an adult library card. He borrowed The Rats by James Herbert which began a love of the frightening and strange. As a teenager, Alex was asked to model clothes in a catalogue. Despite his excitement, this did not result in a jet-setting international career.As an adult, he has enjoyed a career as a corporate communications specialist with experience leading award-winning teams around the world. Alex lives in London with his husband, Ben, and willful pug, Bertie. He is a member of the Horror Writers Association. The Harvest is his first novel, and he's currently working on his second.
