That none be lost. "Dear Barbara, I love your book, The Heart of Our Shepherd. God has used it many times to speak something very special to me. People would tell me, "You have to write a book." I didn't give it a second thought until God revealed to me that this was the reason I was called to be a shepherd: to share the depth of what I learned about His dedication toward His sheep. Autorenporträt
Barbara lived the life of a Pharisee after watching the movie The Ten Commandments on television as a child. She thought she was a good wife and mother to her three children, but family life was not going well.Because no one could live up to her standards, there was a lot of arguing in the home. Her husband became an alcoholic, her son turned to drugs, and her oldest daughter ran away from home and tried suicide. That's when Barbara hit her knees and fell into the loving arms of Jesus, and the change in her brought peace and joy into everyone's lives. Her call to be a shepherd taught her about unconditional love. Jesus changed her life and the life of everyone in her family. Now, there is joy in the house.
