Explore the depths of your heart's unique wisdom with this original approach to the tarot. For most of us, the mind rules our lives, ordering our days and conducting our decision-making. But there's so much we can gain by listening to a different source of knowledge: our hearts. Created to accompany the HeART Tarot Deck (but offering insights to any tarot-based divination practice), this beautifully designed guidebook illustrates each of the 78 archetypes in the major and minor arcana, accompanied by thought-provoking prompts for interpreting their upright and reversed messages. Heart wisdom is an intuitive practice accessible to anyone, esoteric experts and tarot beginners alike. So feel into your heart, draw a card, and carefully listen to its message just for you.
Nicole LaRue was born in Berkeley, California. After earning her BFA from Brigham Young University, her adventures took her across the world living in South Korea and Japan, then on to the Oregon coast and New Hampshire. Nicole is both a queer artist and graphic designer and is widely known for her iconic work on the Women's March on Washington logo. She is the author, designer and illustrator of a number of books including Girl Almighty and Small & Mighty, interactive activist journals for kids as well as Kids' Guide to Backyard Birds, Bugs and Trees, field guides for kids. She has recently collaborated with human rights lawyer, Kate Kelly on a book titled Ordinary Equality, a brilliantly graphic story of the women and queer people of the ERA. Nicole is also a tattoo artist apprentice and uses her brilliant illustration skills in this new work! She currently lives and works in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA. As an intuitive guide, a body-connected trauma-informed Breathwork facilitator, and an energetic life coach, eliza hill (she/her) guides in the unearthing and rewriting of beliefs, and shines light in the corners of hearts and shadows. Within her work, she has witnessed how humans are often so focused on the "story in their minds" that they miss all the unfolding happening while living in the moment. eliza sees truth in witnessing these moments, as messy in the middle is magic in the works. Outside of work, eliza is a wife to Nicole, mom to Oakley, a loving companion to Finn (our pup) and Moshi (our cat). She is outside as much as possible, and loves tattoos, all things spiritual and magic, music (especially live music!!), laughing, and living a beautifully full life. eliza can be found on Instagram at elizah_coaching, and at elizahillcoaching.com.
