Not to be confused with silence or weakness, humility is first about how you live before God, dependent on him, with a teachable heart. This small group resource by bestselling author Edward T. Welch will help men explore how to build their lives on the God who came to earth as the humble servant Jesus. Together participants will explore the transformative power of humility, contrasting it with the destructive nature of pride, through passages such as Psalm 40, Philippians 3, and James 4. The group setting can provide accountability and encouragement as men talk openly, pray for one another, and share their stories of pride and humility. Ultimately the aim is for readers to grow in applying humility in real-life situations, including relationships, work, and personal struggles. Through daily devotional readings from The Humility Project for Men, group discussions, and actionable steps, participants will be equipped to cultivate humility in their daily lives.
