About the Author Hi, I'm Michaela Gaffen Stone-Human Design Coach, Board-Certified Behavior Analyst, and your guide in this journey through Aligned and Unapologetic. I've spent decades unraveling the mysteries of human behavior, culture, and what makes people tick (and stick)-and I'm thrilled to share what I've learned with you. I was born in England and have lived in eight countries across four continents. Each place left its mark-whether it was managing a High Commission's medical clinic in Bangladesh, diving deep into Buddhism and mindfulness in Singapore, or running a boutique gym for women in Malaysia. All of it helped shape how I view health, identity, and what it means to live a life that feels truly aligned. My path eventually led me to the U.S., where I became a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst. I bring the science of behavior together with the intuitive power of Human Design, creating a coaching approach that's practical, powerful, and completely personalized. I believe that when you understand your design, you get to stop second-guessing yourself-and start living with clarity, confidence, and purpose. I also hosted the podcast Navigating Complicated Relationships, where I tackled the messy, beautiful, and sometimes hilarious realities of being human. The episodes are still available (because let's be real-those relationship tangles don't go out of style), and the podcast will be making a comeback soon with even more juicy conversations. I live with my amazing husband, Adam Gaffen-without whom this book would never have seen the light of day.
