Lacey, a single mother of three, has sworn off men after a painful divorce. She focuses on her children and her job, content with her independent life and wary of any romantic entanglements. Her carefully constructed world begins to shift with the arrival of Wyatt, a new colleague whose straightforward, and at times, abrasive manner initially puts her on edge. Despite her reservations and determination to keep him at a distance, Wyatt s persistence and an unexpected encounter lead to a connection that Lacey finds difficult to ignore. Their interactions progress from hesitant conversations to intimate moments, forcing Lacey to confront her past trauma and her fear of vulnerability. As they navigate the complexities of a budding romance, Lacey must decide if she can open her heart again and embrace the possibility of a future she never envisioned.
Autorenporträt
Lisinda Fouch -Grobbelaar, born Lisinda Fouch on September 15th, 1978, in a small town in the Northern Cape of South Africa. Daughter to Brits and Bertha, sister to Ad le and Karin, she is married to Wouter Grobbelaar and has three children, Armand, Syntich and CJ. Her lifelong dream was to write a romantic/erotic novel but feared rejection as she wanted to go all out in her heated scenes and was afraid of being judged and rejected. That is until one day that she put her pen to paper and started her first novel The Imperfect, Perfect Stranger, her pride and joy. With this novel she wants to reignite the spark in all relationship and marriages, hoping that readers would realise that it is wonderful and not at all shameful to have erotic fantasies that you wish to share with your partner.
