Southern Chasu is a Bantu language spoken in Same District, at the North-Eastern Kilimanjaro region of Tanzania. This book details how, just like other Ethnic Community Languages, Southern Chasu is experiencing demographic and sociocultural pressure mainly from Kiswahili- the language of the majority. Being used only at home and some few immediate domains, the language is not well equipped to contain the pressure.
