P.K. Butler is a Pennsylvania-based author of children's books, including the middle grade trilogy Of the Wing and an illustrated serial chapter book series The Bird Club. Butler earned a Master of Art degree in English from the Pennsylvania State University and thereafter taught in higher education, distance education, and adult basic education. Throughout her teaching career, she has volunteered as a literacy tutor, a teacher's assistant (grade school), and as an ESL instructor. Butler's middle grade trilogy Of the Wing has earned editorial praise, with An Odd Bird selected by BlueInk Review for its monthly showcase of "exceptional independently published titles" within Booklist Magazine.
