Dr. Jill Perry is the Executive Director of the Carnegie Project on the Educational Doctorate (CPED) and a Professor of Practice in the Department of Administrative and Policy Studies at the University of Pittsburgh. She has edited two books and is currently researching the ways EdD programs teach practitioners to utilize research evidence. Debby Zambo is an Associate Professor Emerita from Arizona State University currently working as the Associate Director of the Carnegie Foundation on the Education Doctorate (CPED). Along with Jill Perry and Robert Crow, she developed and presented five workshops on a range of topics from the basic tools and processes of improvement science and, most recently, contextualizing improvement science in dissertation work. Robert Crow, Ph. D., is an associate professor of educational research at Western Carolina University. His expertise in assessment and evaluation has led to collaborations with other 4-year institutions, community colleges, PK-12 schools, and institutional accreditation agencies such as SACS-COC. Dr. Crow's research interests include assessment and evaluation of student learning and of learning environments.
