Lutz Pfannenstiel is a former professional footballer and current sporting director of MLS team St Louis City. He was born on March 12, 1973, in Kaiserslautern, West Germany. Pfannenstiel was known for his career as a goalkeeper, although he played for numerous clubs across different continents. Pfannenstiel's professional career spanned over 20 years and took him to various countries. He played for clubs such as Nottingham Forest (England), Dunfermline Athletic (Scotland), Geylang United (Singapore), and TSV 1860 Munich (Germany), among others.
