The treatments consisted of a reference diet, based on corn and soybean meal, and three rations with levels of 5, 10 and 15 % ST as a substitute for ground corn. The physical quality characteristics of the eggs were assessed (egg weight, percentage of yolk, albumen and shell, shell thickness, Haugh Unit, yolk index and colour).
