He had evaded the law for years, but now it's personal... Detective Joshua Chase's life-long quest to find the most elusive and violent robber in the United States is about to end. But not in the way he hoped. For decades, a team of masked, violent bank robbers has eluded police and federal forces all over the US. Unpredictable and random, the group operates across the country, terrorizing and often killing witnesses to their heists. Then it disappears, leaving misery behind but no detectable traces or recognizable signs of their identity. When Joshua Chase, by sheer stubbornness and doggedness, finally begins to track down Lolly, the feared group leader, he decides the group must be apprehended and stopped, no matter the consequences. In a dramatic turn of events, it will be left to his son, Gabriel, to pick up the pursuit. But others with scores to settle are after the elusive robbers. Lolly is pincered between justice and revenge. Does he have a third option? THE INNOCENTS is the third gripping thriller by Nathan Senthil. Look out for the first, THE IMMORALIST and the second, INHUMAN.

Autorenporträt
Influenced by Jeff Lindsay, Jo Nesbø, and Chris Carter, Nathan Senthil began writing his first novel with one goal in mind: the antagonist should stay with readers for a long time after they close the book. Now working on his third book in a five-book series, he still stays true to his initial goal. Nate aims to create stories that he himself would want to read over and over again. If the chapters fail to make that kind of impression on him, he deletes them and starts over. He writes most of the time, fuelled by cigarettes and coffee. Apart from reading and writing about serial killers and psychopathic cannibals, Nate also likes scotch, pizza, and running on a treadmill. Self-confessed introvert, Nate rarely goes out. However, he is the most extroverted person you will ever meet in correspondence and he promises to reply to every single message.
