Autorenporträt
Clare Dunn is an author, illustrator, and creator. Originally hailing from Kentucky, she moved north to Cincinnati, OH to get her BFA in printmaking and illustration from Xavier University. Dunn loved comic books and literature since she was 12 years old, and after 3 years making strictly fine art, Clare became disenfranchised with the closed system of galleries and gallery attendees. She believes strongly that good quality art should not be restricted to white walls and the certain social standing of gallery patrons. She now makes graphic novels because they're an affordable format for art and can be enjoyed by any age group.
