The present psychoanalytic research work entitled From Sublimation to the theatrical experience aims to understand how the effects of sublimation are manifested in the actor subject through the method of theatrical experiential creation of the transgressive intimate. It is a research process that will allow us to approach the unknown, which Lacan (1988) proposes in The Ethics of Psychoanalysis, that part of the intimate in the staging by means of a character with which each actor identifies. In this paper we will find the epistemological development of the concept of sublimation starting from Freud to more recent authors of psychoanalysis, we will also be able to understand what characteristics sublimation has and how it operates in the theater of the transgressive intimate.Key words: Sublimation, Intimate, Unheimlich, Theater and Psychoanalysis, Identification.
