The Joy of Feminist Leadership! is a research-based resource for gender-inclusive, intersectional feminist leaders-current and aspiring-who are reimagining leadership and facilitating transformation in academia, organizations, communities, and movements worldwide. Readers of The Joy of Feminist Leadership are invited to:Dream wildly, expansively, and unapologetically about the possibilities that feminist leadership liberates Dismantle the myths, distortions, and oversimplifications that have led to feminist leadership being misunderstood, dismissed, and misused Explore the deep ways feminist perspectives reshape not just what leadership does, but how it feels-rich with care, justice, and collective power Make feminist leadership our own by weaving it with kindred practices -think alchemy, not assimilation Navigate the intersections-and tensions-among feminist, feminine, and women's leadership Engage with the wisdom of real-world examples that bring feminist leadership to life in all its complexity and brilliance Authentically and courageously embody the joy, the grit, and the radical tenderness of feminist leadership in our organizations and communities This book is a helpful guide for people who value the transformative power of connection, creativity, and collective wisdom in co-creating the world we know is possible.
