Kara A. Mullane lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her family. She began her academic journey with a degree in Sociology from Ithaca College in New York, where she developed a strong interest in human behavior and social dynamics.Her passion for healthcare led her to earn a Bachelor of Nursing degree from the University of Washington. She later completed a Master's degree in Nursing Administration at the University of California, San Francisco, and has worked in nursing and infection prevention with a focus on improving patient care.Kara's writing reflects her wide-ranging interests, including science, gardening, the environment, reading, and community. She enjoys exploring themes of curiosity, kindness, and connection in her work, and values storytelling as a way to spark thought and encourage inclusivity.Inspired by the people and natural beauty around her, Kara continues to write stories that reflect a respect for both the planet and one another.
