The various financial crises experienced throughout the world have had a negative impact on financial institutions and banks. These crises have resulted either in restructuring programs to avoid the disappearance of banks or in liquidations. Studying some of the financial crises that the world has experienced during the last two decades of the last century is a choice that seems relevant to me because each crisis has its own causes and particularities. This will allow us to draw important lessons that could constitute a valuable working tool to draw up a typology of crises and to make the necessary adjustments at both the macro and micro economic levels.
