Lisa Rusinyak lives on a farm with her family, in Franklin, Georgia. Over the years, she has rescued a vast array of unwanted and unloved animals. Working as a registered nurse for thirty years has helped fund her passion for helping animals. The Life and Times of Samwise Surprise is Lisa's first book. She hopes that by sharing animals' stories with children, she can teach them at an early age that all animals have value.
