Peter Canova is an international businessman who decided to author books after undergoing a series of spiritual experiences that altered the course of his life. He has won literary prizes for short stories at the Santa Barbara's Writer's Conference, and in 2001 in Francis Ford Coppola's online Zoetrope magazine. In 2010, he published Pope Annalisa, a geo-political spiritual thriller, which won ten prestigious national book competitions within 24 months of its publication including Writer's Digest and Nautilus awards. His current book, The Thirteenth Disciple, is the second book in a trilogy entitled The First Souls, an epic story about the first fall of spirit consciousness into material existence. It is a saga about the origin, purpose, and destiny of humanity grounded on an ancient universal spiritual tradition lost to the West for two thousand years. Collectively, the series has won 19 literary awards. Peter has been the subject of numerous radio and television interviews. He has three appearances on the national mega-radio show Coast to Coast show with George Noory, and he has appeared on stage with many noted personalities in the consciousness raising field as a national speaker.
