Madi Hannan, lovingly known by her art pseudonym "Madicat," grew up exploring the Louisiana swamps with her younger brother, eagerly scanning the water to hopefully see an elusive alligator. Following her love of the natural world and animals, Madi is a full-time high school science teacher but still manages to create artwork and stories in the evenings. In her spare time, Madi enjoys teaching her Australian Shepherd, Jacques, new tricks, napping with her cat, Butters, and baking. She is also the author and illustrator of Scrim on the Run!
