Autorenporträt

Angela Lambert was born to a German mother and an English father and grew up bilingual. She studied at Oxford and worked as a civil servant, journalist, and TV reporter.  Her first book, Unquiet Sounds: The Indian Summer of the British Aristocracy, was shortlisted for the Whitbread Prize.
