A.E. Fortin came of age during the Vietnam era, where she married her high school sweetheart who went on to serve proudly in the U.S. Navy for twenty years. As a devoted Navy wife, she embraced the lifestyle and adventure, raising three wonderful children-two sons and a daughter-while making lasting memories, including car shows and meeting NASCAR drivers during their time in Virginia. After his retirement, they returned home to Maine to start a new chap-ter. Though it took time to adjust, especially with the children still in school, they remained strong as a family. Together, they celebrated 50 beautiful years of marriage before his passing. This book is part of the legacy she now creates-for her children, grand-children, and all those who carry her story forward.
