Autorenporträt
Denise Farren Calloway grew up on the Jersey Shore, entrenched in a community of singing and dancing Irish-Catholics. She is the youngest of a large close-knit family. She attended St. Rose Grammar School & High School. In 1991, she graduated from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY, with a degree in communication arts and advertising. Denise has always been creative and loves the arts. She envisioned herself creating ads on Madison Avenue until she realized the beach life was more her speed. She has worked in New Jersey as a medical sales & marketing professional for the past 30 years, learning from people as her creative mind kept spinning in the background. Recently, Denise earned her End-of-Life Doula Certificate from the University of Vermont. Denise tells it like she sees it and lives by her own unique moral compass. She thrives on deep conversations and offers her brutally honest perspective on things that make people laugh. Denise still resides on the Jersey Shore. She loves Jimmy Buffett, wearing sunglasses, listening to live music, dancing, laughing, and any and all views of the water. Denise is married to Dave Calloway, and together they have two children, Clifford and David .
