Jenny sees the man and remembers his face. She turns to get her mother, but she is abducted before she can flee. Detective Fisher Canning and Nina now must try to piece together the few clues they have to find her daughter and the man responsible for her husband's death.

Deborah was born and raised in Nova Scotia. As a child, she was always writing stories. With her heart in her throat she wrote her first book, Death on Collie Mountain making her pastime become a reality. Writing her second book, Beyond the Entrance, gave her the courage to write her third book, The Man in the Truck. Turning her pastime into a passion.
