Autorenporträt
Dr. Carlos Echevarria is the Chief Medical Officer of Vascular Centers of Excellence. He specializes in vascular medicine and endovenous interventions. Dr. Echevarria completed his subspecialty training in venous and lymphatic disease in the Department of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at the Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School.  He has been the award winner of multiple scholarships that have supported his career in vascular disease. These accolades came from esteemed institutions such as the American Society of Laser in Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS)/Beckman Laser Institute – Vascular Clinic at UC Irvine, American Academy of Phlebology/American Vein and Lymphatic Society (AVLS), the American Society of Vascular Medicine, and the American Venous Forum (AVF). Dr. Echevarria is currently the co-chair of the Society of Vascular Medicine Venous Taskforce and chair of the AVLS IVUS program. His multiple contributions to the scientific community, including peer-reviewed publications and national and international conference presentations, reflect his commitment to evidence-based venous care.
