Produktbeschreibung
Primary Health Care (PHC) is characterised by the principles of the Unified Health System (SUS), namely universality, decentralisation, accessibility, linkage, continuity of care, humanisation and social participation. It develops intersectoral actions and specific activities with the community, such as home care. Home care makes it possible for the individual to take co-responsibility for health care in relation to themselves and the family in relation to the individual. It facilitates the development of singular and collective therapeutic projects that respect the identity of all those involved within a health service that works as a promotion strategy. This type of care, when developed by Occupational Therapy (OT), manages to maintain proposals aimed at greater participation and involvement of both the person being cared for and their family in building a meaningful daily life in accordance with their current health conditions. The aim was to understand the meaning attributed to OT home care.
