Autorenporträt
Richard Touitou was born and raised in a quaint village nestled in the breathtaking Aurès Mountains, where the undulating sands of the Sahara meet the rich tapestry of Algerian culture. His formative years were shaped not only by the warmth of his family but also by the vibrant traditions of the Touareg friend tribe, particularly the esteemed El Sarahoui family. During his adolescence, up until the pivotal moment of Algeria's indebtedness in November 1954, Richard reveled in a remarkable education steeped in the lessons of nature and the wisdom of ancient customs, often found near the tranquil banks of the El Arab wadi.
