Leslie Glass is a journalist, novelist, playwright, and documentarian. In her writing career of more than four decades, she has worked in advertising, publishing, magazines, documentary filmmaking, and theatre. For twenty-four years, she served as Trustee of the Leslie Glass Family Foundation, which she retired in 2018. Leslie, has served on many organization boards including, the Middle States Commission of Higher Education and the New York City Police Foundation. Since 2011, Leslie has concentrated on creating educational tools for life skills, family wellness, and teen addiction prevention. With her daughter Lindsey, she developed the popular website Reach Out Recovery, publishing self-help books and more than 1,500 original articles about addiction, recovery, and family relationships. Leslie is also the author of fourteen novels, including nine USA Today and New York Times bestselling crime novels featuring NYPD Detective Sergeant April Woo, the first female Asian-American detective in main-stream American fiction. Leslie lives in Sarasota, Florida, where her passions are Tai Chi, golf, cooking for friends and neighbors, and the Rotary Club of Sarasota Bay, where she developed the "What Makes You Healthy" wellness education and art program for teens based on her book, The Teen Guide To Health.
