Dr. Abumeis wurde 1970 in Tripolis - Libyen geboren und kam 2009 nach Australien. Er reiste, lebte und studierte in Großbritannien, den USA und Australien. Er ist ein versierter zeitgenössischer bildender Künstler, der sich leidenschaftlich für die auf der Kunstpraxis basierende Forschung und die Kunstindustrie einsetzt. Seine Werke wurden weltweit gesammelt, unter anderem im Islamic Museum of Australia.
