Autorenporträt
Kevin Qamaniq-Mason grew up in Iglulik, Nunavut. He currently lives in Ottawa and is a senior policy advisor at Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami. He and his wife have a son and daughter by custom adoption and are foster parents to more. Vinícius Xavier, a Brazilian illustrator with a degree in visual arts, grew up in a city surrounded by nature. His curiosity led him to become a self-taught painter, using gouache, watercolour, and crayons. Passionate about storytelling, he believes illustrations convey messages and create magical universes. When not working on animated series and picture books, he enjoys running in parks and sketching landscapes and local animals.
