Jim Papandrea is Professor of Church History and Historical Theology at Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary in Evanston, Illinois. He hosts "The Original Church," an online ecumenical community of readers interested in early Christian history. He also hosts "The Way of the Fathers," a very popular podcast on Catholic Culture's platform. He is a speaker much in demand, and he leads regular pilgrimages to Rome. In academic circles, he is counted among the foremost experts on Christian Rome in the third century.
