Suzanne van Rooyen grew up in South Africa, but currently lives in Finland where she finds the cold, dark forests nothing if not inspiring. Although she has a master's degree in music, Suzanne prefers writing strange tales about quirky characters. When not writing, she teaches dance and music to middle schoolers, and manages publicity for Entranced Publishing. When not doing any of that, you'll find her entertaining her Shiba Inu, Lego, attempting to play guitar, or baking peanut-butter cookies.
