Dr Martin W B Jarvis OAM CM Ph.D., FIMT, FRSA is a professor at Charles Darwin University, Australia. His PhD is in the application of forensic handwriting examination techniques to 18th century music manuscripts, particularly those attributed to J S Bach, and specifically the six cello suites. For many years he was a board member of a branch of the Australian and New Zealand Forensic Society, the professional body for forensic scientists. He has also been called upon as an expert witness in legal proceedings.
