Mary Jantz is an American writer, published author, educator, and former kindergarten teacher who also holds a license in practical nursing. She received her bachelor's degree in education from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh in 2001, where she competed in Women's Cross Country and Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field. She ran on three national teams, helping her team win the NCAA Cross Country National Championship in 1996, and placed 17th in the nation for the women's 5000 meters for Track and Field in 2000. The author has completed over a dozen half marathons and nine full marathons, including running the Boston Marathon four times. Mary returned to school, this time for nursing, and became an LPN in 2014. She is the mother of three amazing and talented boys, Cam (17), Ethan (15) and Bo (12). After five years as a school nurse, Mary now devotes her time to writing books. She resides with her husband and children in Gilbert, AZ. Writing has always been a passion for Mary. While always rooting for the underdog, her stories often depict characters who wrestle with confidence issues yet also hold a deep passion for never giving up hope and faith in themselves or their aspirations. All her stories are unique, yet the theme for Mary Jantz's readers remains constant: no matter what, love will always win. Find her at MaryJantzBooks.com.
