This text deals with the relationship between popular and erudite culture in Gilberto Mendonça Teles's collection of poems Hora aberta (2003). Danielle Fardin Fernandes hat einen Abschluss in Literaturwissenschaft (Lehramt für Englisch und Portugiesisch und Bachelor in Literaturwissenschaft) der Bundesuniversität von Ouro Preto (2004). Sie hat einen Master in Literaturwissenschaft der Bundesuniversität von Viçosa (2012). Derzeit unterrichtet sie im technischen Bereich.
