Obsessed with the desire to acquire a portrait of a young woman, he increasingly abandons his bourgeois existence and plunges into a dangerousadventure with an unpredictable outcome.The author compellingly traces the paths of these two lives, keeping the reader guessing for much of the way as to what will bring them together at the end.
Autorenporträt
Martin Gross was born in 1959 in the Palatinate near the French border and, after studying electrical engineering, lived and worked in Poland, the USA, Switzerland and Sweden, among other places. Since 2013, he lives with his wife Birgit in the south of France, where he finally found the time to write. He is particularly interested in recent European history, which is also reflected in his books.
